This policy explains what information Amanah Data collects when you use our website at amanahdata.com or our Android app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.

Amanah Data is operated from Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

In short: we collect what we need to create your account, hold your wallet, and deliver data to the phone numbers you choose. We share your phone number with our data provider so your bundle can be delivered, and your details with our payment provider so your wallet can be funded. We do not sell your information to anyone.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to investigate fraud or protect someone's safety.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.

6. Where your data is stored

Our database and backend are hosted by Railway on servers located in the United States. Our email provider Resend and our notification provider Google Firebase also process data outside Nigeria.

This means your personal data is transferred outside Nigeria. We rely on these providers' own data protection commitments and standard contractual protections. By using Amanah Data you consent to this transfer. If you are not comfortable with your data being stored outside Nigeria, please do not use the service.

7. How long we keep it

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission as the law requires.

10. Children

Amanah Data is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Amanah Data after a change means you accept the updated policy.
